going long tomorrow. 6 weeks to grand island marathon and I'm up for an 18 miler tomorrow. And, its no walk in the park 18 miler either, its 6x3 loops of hilly twisty turning rooty single track. easy on the legs, great for the trail endurance. Should be a good one. Also, after each 6 mile loop i can check the time and compare to past runs, stop and get a Gu and water. works well. After this its time to start thinking more speed. About the only way i can seem to do speedwork is to look for a race, but that's a pain in the butt. I've gotta make myself do some 4x1mile repeats, or 3-4 mile time trials on my own ... we'll see !
