Wax Bench

What's your wax area look like? Home made wax bench here, two 2x4's nailed together with supports along the length of the ski, wooden home-made clamp. Shelving above and below for wax, iron, etc. More shelving on either side for other assorted man stuff. Motivational bibs on the wall from cool old races back the day.

interesting wax bench profile design. i made one that looked like something you would buy. then gave it to my brother expecting to be in south carolina by the time ski season rolled around. well i'm still here and need a wax bench. just browsing for simple plans. yours is by far the simplest. nice blog. thanks.

I like the simplicity of the ski wax bench.
Would it be possible to have more details?

Hey anonymous, what do you wanna know? Take two 2x4's and nail them together. cut small pieces of 2x4 of random height to place on top of 2x4's to support ski. last, fashion a clamp using some 1x2 or 1x3 inch boards with a long screw between them, done. Cost = $10, time to make 20 minutes. Swix bench so you look cool = $150
